Hover the mouse over the "MPR" bit on the membersite to see what you need to do to get promoted, but generally it's 4 races or 2 TT's at the right licence level + SR >3.0 (or >4.0 for fast track)

Also your SR is not affected by the quality of the field, it's simply a measure of corners per incident over the last 'x' corners, chances are you replaced a lot of incident filled corners with the same number of clean ones. (you also get a bonus for going over a whole number but that doesn't apply here)

Is there an iRacing OCUK racer list? I've been away from this for a long time but am looking to come back and race some friendly racers, etc.

I used to put on bi-weekly night practice sessions for the up and coming tracks.

Most people who play on here have posted their iRacing name at some point, but I doubt you any to trawl through pages of posts to find them.

Mines Mark J Turner if you want to add me.

I wish you could test cars that you don't own just to see what they handle like.
Would be nice, but I can understand why they don't let you. Would be good to get more of a showroom/show-reel thing going on though - lots of video of the car being thrown around should be the bare minimum. The UI as a whole needs a huge overhaul really.

Managed to win a race earlier :D Rather enjoy the track for the MX5 at the minute.

If anyone wants to add me then its Liam Murray2.

I don't mind any of the Mazda tracks, apart from Limerock. I really can't get on with it at all.

Managed a 5th place in the 24 Heures Du Fun at Spa. 56 cars started the race and I got taken out in the first 50 metres, pressed ESC, watched the replay, clicked race and still finished on the lead lap. Just shows you what a crash fest these week 13 races are. If nothing else it was good practice.

Limerock was always my favourite :D The Mazdas are so unstable under braking though so most corners are scary :p

Edit: Just noticed the track for the Mazda Cup changed already, does it change every day in week 13?

Loving the Mazda cup track today. Lots of long sloping straights. For a rookie it's fast without the barstewards of corners that the other tracks seem to have on hills. Managed to get in the top 10 which is still rubbish but I was proud haha. A 0.27 boost in SR means I only need 0.01 to get to 3.00 now woo

Found this thread on the iRacing forums which goes into how to get the best ffb settings - http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/2023748.page

Feels much better now :)

Site is down for maintenance.

I wonder if its anything to do with what I saw while spectating one of your races. While I was watching, the two corners after the corkscrew, the cars appeared to be floating above the track slightly.
