Well that's something at least. It'd still be £500+ though for the screens. I'll probably end up doing it at some point when I can afford it.
 
yeah same borrish, I've only just bought a new 24" 120hz monitor so I'm going to order another 2 very soon, that's still over 500 quid for 2...

if I have 3 120hz 3d monitors can I use 3d on all 3 at the same time?

Good question. Its somthing i was pondering. I always thought you couldnt but would like to know too.
 
I think you can, although not 100% sure, but it'd be nvidia only (amd fanboy here :p) and you'd need one hell of a lot of graphics power to manage it...

the side ones can hang off the side?:)
but 120fps~ with tripple screens requires a mighty setup, notsure it would be possible for most games at max/near max settings :/

yeah ill get them and try them on my corner desk first..

im not fussed about the 120fps as long as its above 60..

not really interested in 3d but i was just interested to see if it would work, i have a 3d tv that ive used the 3d on about 5 times...

my 580's should do ok with 3 screens at 1080p i get average of 150fps most of the time with it been at 180/200 a lot aswell, on a packed grid its about 100 thats on 1 screen with 1 580 so when i put my other 1 back in it should be good.;..
 
No more racing the Ford GT on Watkins Glen :( No more 2 car tandem at 'dega for another 2 weeks either!

@GraveYard: You'll love Spa then. I think that's even worse for getting off tracks.
 
yeah I raced spa my first week on Iracing, think my normal line gets me 3 1x off road...

I love spa but I struggle with the last chicane, but then on laguna seca it's the corkscrew...
 
nah ive got it unlimited..

apparently when i get the 3 screens it will use more of the gpu's, thats what the lads say on the iracing forums...

still not convinced...
 
Moving to 3 screens is going to drastically increase the load on the GPU side of things without really changing anything on the CPU side, so I'd imagine you'd see higher usage (and not a massive drop in framerate)

Anyway, practiced a bit of Laguna Seca last night, and meh, forgot how much I hated this place, not sure I can get over that enough to race yet :p
 
ok cheers skill a couple peeps on the forums said that.

yeah Im not a big fan of laguna seca as I said in a earlier post, been practicing in the radical best I can do is 1.21.xx so I'm quiet slow by I'm still not consistent..

had a couple races in the jetta round there aswell they was ok, but there a lot if close racing and with the mx5's I had a few contacts...
 
I only did a handful of laps but about the same, think I got a 1:21.7, but nowhere near consistent, I guess being crap at a circuit is as good a reason as any to skip it :p
