That's poor from setup synch that they change the name of the file when it is a team file..

The latest one is the one without the R as I didn't say it was a race setup.

Two weeks today, 3 different time slots available. Probably 3 drivers in total needed.

For those interested but not yet signed up, we have a slack.com group for OCUK iRacers, currently being used to organise ourselves for the upcoming 2016 season 3 Blancpain Endurance Series. Always looking for additional drivers :)

Zandvoort AMG GT3 30 min practice followed by 30 min race session going up at 19:00 tonight, all welcome.

unfortunately i won't be able to make tonight, I've a family thing.

Just a note though, is tonight's session made as a team session? I think it will need to be if you're going to test those features. Not sure how that will leave you for a race at the end though.

If you're doing a team session it's worth getting one nominated driver to register the team and the correct car, then the others can just join the team session through the Teams tab.
 
I was thinking a non-team session tonight, more opportunity for track and car hands-on time. Anyone else up for it?

If folks prefer, bring it forward to before F1 - 18:00 - 19:00 GMT?

Default weather, unlimited fast repairs, 20 practice, 10 min qual, 30 min race.
 
The pricing has gone up :( I only joined the 25% discount club 2 days ago!

Can't believe they have made it more expensive, that's just going to shrink the player base and some series struggle as it is. I'm still signed up till 2017, I think I bought two years when it was 50% off.
 
Meh. They should have done this a couple of years ago in line with inflation. The rise doesn't bother me to be honest. It's still works out less than $0.50 per race, assuming you only do 4 races per week for the year. The forum is pretty much in meltdown over it, with the entitled little asshats moaning about how 'unethical' it was of iRacing to lower the discount.

In more fun news, I just did my first Proto/GT race of the season at Imola. It's hard work keeping both your concentration and tyres together for 75 minutes, but great fun. Should have won it, but got badly blocked by a HPD going through Acque Mineralia and the second placed GT nipped through. Tomorrow night's 18:45 race will be streamed by Racespot, so come and join the race to be judged by all on Youtube :D I'll be there if I can get home from work in time.

I think the price rise is fair enough, but moving the goalposts on the discounts seems a little bit harsh.

None of it will stop me racing, but a little whine now and then keeps me on my toes. ;)
