yeah think he never realized he hit you but for the first 2 laps after it looked like he had damage as he was weaving a lot i did ask him but he never replied..

i also really hate that when peeps dont say sorry...nice of him to do it after tho...

was a shame would have been a great race...

my first race today was a disaster aswell, was in 3rd and 2nd lost it at knickerbrook and i had no were to go but into him, i was fuming as that was a great race aswell...
 
Just started getting into this again, still a Rookie though. I'm finding I rely on auto-blip a little too much, doing it manually seems impossible! The Radical seems a million miles away - will race with you guys one day :p
 
turn auto blip off mate, you will get used to it and auto clutch...

you will get to the radical mate just take your time...

just do whatever you can to get out of the rookie races...

been playing a week now, apart from some of the horrendous drivers I have been doing okay, had my first win, and few top three finishes and first of my class so cant be doing too badly.
 
tbh i had auto clutch on in the mx5, i was just hell bent on getting out of the rookie races.

start from pits, stay out the way and do time trails just to get your SR up, then start racing properly once you get out of rookies...
 
With the H boxes (like the MX5) it's probably better to leave the auto-clutch on (or use a macro, although a 'cheat'), it's only really with the other cars that basically don't need a clutch that manual blipping really comes into it's own.

Just did another Q session, knew I could go quicker, 20.343, hell yeah \o/

lol nice 1 mate i knew you could aswell, i seen you in loads of quali sessions today lol...what set did you use???

if you dont win a race this weekend there something wrong...
 
Yeah, think I did 4, 3 quite messy ones on my own (although 20.6's in at least 2 of them) and then I had other drivers in there and it was really quite clean (few off tracks, nothing more) so I need to Q when others are out there :p

Have managed to lose 0.18 SR just via qualifying today (including the gain from the last one), and a further 0.05 for the race, almost a quarter point in one day :s

As for the win, really depends on field, if there's a quick guy like David Burnett (although I just 'beat' him in Q) then it's gonna be hard work to say the least :p

yeah there is some quick peeps that race it but i think a few of the normal fast lads are struggling...

ive done well with my sr and ir today bar my first race...
 
:D That was frankly awesome, 0 incidents as well :D

Was sure David would get me sooner or later, but seemed able to keep him around 1s back, then he span at cascades and it was 'just' a case of keep up a reasonable pace for the next half an hour without making any mistakes :p

Did almost lose concentration a couple of times, but so chuffed about that, especially beating someone who I think is 'faster than me' :D

Only downside being 144 points, now I'm not sure whether to race again or just keep that lovely points haul :p

it is hard when your racing the f3 box to keep focus..

yeah david took too much of the inside kerb at cascades and it spat him off.

i might as well race as my first race i got wrecked so it wont make much difference to me...

EDIT= you have already raced tho so that would go against you average for the week tho right???
