Yeah I was thinking that but my division is gunna be harder this time got some good boys in mine so will be a challenge, but I'm better and faster than the start of last season so stand abit of a chance at least..

I'm gunna do quali need all the help I can get, just hope if there is double splits I'm in the top split, I've got the pace to do well...

My first season in the Radical now I've moved up to a C class license. I've been running practise round Watkins and think I can at least keep myself out of trouble in a race. I'll see how I do in qualifying when I get home today. Wish me luck! :D

Does fast promotion work for all Classes i.e. if you hit 4.0 you automatically get promoted or does that only work for a Rookie class?

Nice 1 see you on the grid, what lap times are you getting mate??

Me and skill are racing tonight...

Try get a good draft for your quali lap you will gain 2 10ths easy...

Fast track works all the way, I got to a class like that...

Just done my first semi-reasonable attempt at a race run (tried a couple of times last night, never managed more than 3-4 laps, did set some quick times though :p), anyway, '16' laps (15 flying + outlap but I started pushing straight away), best of a 1:05.116 although it seems to start off quick, get noticeably slower from lap 3 for a few laps before coming back in gradually...

One thing worth mentioning, and I could be wrong here, but I'm not sure 11.1 gallons is enough anymore, here be some maths:

Did 16 laps, at close to race-pace, and ended up with 6.4 gallons from 11.1, so 4.7 gallons remaining, which is 0.29375 gallons per lap, I think.

I then assumed an average of 1:05.5 which for the front-runners at least is reasonable, if not a bit conservative, that into 45 minutes = 41.xx laps, so 42, maybe even 43.

42 x 0.29375 = 12.3375 gallons

I think, could well have done something stupid in those calculations :p

So think I'll start with 13.1 just to be safe, not like fuel makes a huge difference around here anyway...

EDIT: Damnit, was supposed to be doing the 15:00 qualifying and I was writing this instead, d'oh

Lol nice time in race trim best I did was a 05.3, thinks because your always on the power so times aint much different.

Ill take your word for it and use 13.1g for first race...

So you are doing quali then lol, ill do 1 when I get in..

Have and races gone official yet???

What time U racing G ? Finishing work in a mo so i can do the 4,5 and 6pm mx5 race. I should be close to 4.0 from those 3 if Only i can stop myself racing Its bloody hard now im in the top split everytime starting to be with the Same chaps every race. Cant help myself ha
ve to race them.

Still not run more than 4 lap sprints at the Glenn. So i will ghost tonight. Save wrecking anyones race.

Yeah, I'll do a qually, hopefully I can set a 4.7 otherwise I'll be annoyed :p

Just had a check, the 1:30am race went official (decent turn out too, 13 people), leader had an average of 1:06.2, 41 laps completed. Shame I decided not to stay up, could've got the first win of the season </ego> :p

Ill be home in a hour or so.

Cool if that went live we should be busy this eve, bet that was manily yanks last night then?

Lol you probably would have won aswell, if I set a 1.05 flat ill be happy for quali...

Sr at 3.6 now G averaging +0.12 a race so should be at 4.0 tonight, would have had a 0 inc for that one :( But racing Igor Belokonev for 3rd place we slightly touched after about 12 laps being within 0.3 of each other, I gave him a bit to much space into t1 so he took the inside line slide a little to much and we slightly touched. 1x contact grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Shame as I managed to hold really low 1.00.1's for most the race and still take 4th in the first split whilst pushing at about 90% pace. I'd of had 3rd but after that little touch I didn't want to take a chance and loose SR.

Most important thing for me now is to get a C class licence its a shame I've got IR also now as it makes me race to build that up to doing well on that one up to 1712 now.

1:04.738, new PB, guess it'll do, I can see a 4.6 though, it's just a case of hooking it all up...

awesome job mate.

im gunna give the 5pm quali ago..

sorted, just stay clean thendo 4 tt's in the radical and you will be c class...

Just bought the Ford Mustang to try, what a tank!

Just did 10 laps of Laguna Seca and hit a 1:39 which looking at things isn't too bad for a scratch lap, I might have a race in it tonight because I'm not a fan of LRP and that's where the MX5's are.

I'm fast around LRP, I've won many races there, but I don't really like it?

my quali never went the best, after doing about 5 or 6 laps and getting a best time of 5.03 i though something aint right here, turns out i was using my race set so had race fuel on board.

switched to my quali set did a couple 1.05 flats then my only chance at a draft i had a sketchy lap and got a 1.04.966..bla...

4.9 aint too shabby, I was tempted to join either to try to do a 4.6 or to hook up and do some organised drafting with you, still not sure about the drafting though, part of me thinks it'd be great and that others will be doing it, the other bit says that it seems a bit silly to put myself further ahead than I 'should' be...

well i need all the help i can get mate so if there faster than me then they can fight me for the position...

i can go faster on my own that that quali time i just did so im not really "cheating" yet lol...

need to hook a good lap up...

well that didnt go exactly to plan did it josh...

i did get a 1.04.8 out of it but you must have been on a mega hot 1 if i did a 4.8 with you half a sec behind me the whole lap, shame you lost it last corner...

Not so much no :p

Don't think it was the drafting so much as me just sucking (think I was pressuring myself into delivering the 4.6, or lower with draft), but yeah, either that or organising the draft like that is way harder than it sounds :p

Still, got an ok time in both sessions ultimately, and like you say until the last corner that was probably gonna be a very quick time, I'm trying to think how far behind you I was at the start of the lap, I think it was 1.1s on F3, and iirc it was 0.6 or 0.7s when I entered the last corner, so by that it would've been a 4.4
