Just had my first race on there in the mazda cup. Came 7th out of 10. Would have done better if someone didn't spin me off the track when i held the outside line on a corner. Think i got disqualified in the cool down lap though lol

I'm going to be doing my first race in a few weeks tonight in the Maxda Cup, I used to be quite competitive at Summit Point when I raced regularly. But I'm just aiming for a clean few races.

Thanks very much for the breakdown Marshstyles.
IMo iracing has a player domination problem, like most online games. I guess races are dominated by the top 10-20% of fantastic racers. Which leaves most other racers only aiming for a middle of the field position. So what's the point of playing/paying if you have no chance of winning.
Because you are put into races with other drivers of similar iRating and therefore similar skill level. The only way to be in races the top guys is to be one of them.
I've been stuck at the same skill level for years (3 wins only) and I have never been bored! Online racing is second to none here
Interesting, what keeps you coming back then if you are unlikely to win?
Some of the best sim races I've ever had have been absolute scraps from start to finish, winding up in 12th place overall. Similarly I've had lights to flag victories in which I didn't see another car and were dull as anything. The enjoyment doesn't come from winning.
