Is it ever acceptable to key a car?

Letting tyres down takes ages.
Vanadlising it and spitting on the windscreen took about 30 seconds, and it inconvincienced him anyway I expect. Lost his NCB, without his ***-mobile for a few days.

Bottom line is - Never, ever, ever lay a malicious finger on another man's car. As others have said, get it moved and leave a note or deal with the owner face to face.

Besides, if it's blocking your entrance, scratching it is not going to solve the problem is it.

Ok so i'll make a thread saying "I really want to rape people. But I haven't yet, so please don't judge me."

Err... :p

There's a lot of things I think about but don't do, not all are sinister but some are, so should i be locked up? If yes, you might aswell lock up most of the people on this planet, because i garauntee that everyone at some point has thought about doing something to someone, even you.

But back to the topic, no i wouldn't key someone's car for that i think you made the perfect choice by getting it towed because if that's not as much as of an inconvenience for them as it is for you i don't know what is (legally), and i didn't know we were allowed to use faggot on the forum.

Never key a car. It's petty and makes the keyer no better than the inconsiderate car owner.

Its always best to talk to the drive however they are not normally standing around the car they just parked in your driveway lol :p

As I said I did not do it, I know it is wrong but it did feel rather good seeing it get pulled away by the police :D

Its a shame it only cost him 40 GBP to get it back.

Only £40, but a couple of hours of his life he'll never get back. :D

The whole point is you cant expect to post it publically on an internet forum and not expect to be judged harshly.

I do understand and agree with your point entirely, but you also agree with me right? no?

Yes you will get trashed for saying how you really feel through being honest, which i think has it's merits and downfalls, but since he's anonymous then why not. I just think the guy is just being open about this situation in his expression since we're all likely to encounter this experience sooner or later and and aren't too far pushed to imagine it.

But yeah he's just less restrained in saying what's on his mind then a lot of people, you can't really put him down for that since he didn't actually do it.

I would have liked to wait for the owner, but if it's a female owner you can't exactly have a go at her or you'll get done for rape, assault, racism and 90 other charges by todays law.

So in other words you lack the ability to conduct yourself with any degree of intelligence or civility.

I am "easy"... I just can't understand people who think it's ok and acceptable to commit mindless vandalism to someone elses property... especially something as valuable as a car. Simply mind-boggling, and it makes my blood boil.

I have to say when i read that he kicked a couple of dents AND spat on the windscreen that it was out of order even if you were/are 19. I know i'm not model citizen by any standards but man i don't think i've ever done something like that.

Well at least you feel remorse? not that it makes matters any better. But yeah seriously, don't ever do stuff like that!

No, If i'd even see someone keying a car, he'd be gettign a fist in the face.

Ppl that key cars should be treated as animals, sounds harsh, but I really think it this way.

Just imo, but then again I think higher of most cars than most people think of cars :p.

Pitchfork suspended, simply because I've had my car vandalised before and he deserves it :)

It's never ever ever acceptable. Just ask them to move it and not to do it again. Or phone the council and get it towed, they then have to pay. So they should learn there lesson.

No, If you haven't got the balls to deal with the owner up close its just cowardice.

Most I've done to someone elses car is do a bloomin great greenie on the windscreen. They came out their house, he spat at me and we had fisticuffs in the street like true ***** gentleman folk.

I love my nieghbours soooo much ;)

Personally I think it says more about the people who would even consider this as a recourse over something so trivial (in the grand scheme of things) as a random stranger parking inconsiderately.

Keying and kicking dents in someones car simply because they've parked across a couple of spaces pretty much makes you a feckless mob. If you're that personally offended by it simply speak to the ticket office and they'll slap a fine on the guys windscreen.

must admit i egged some guy i didnt likes car when i was a young one

he popped my football though ,and i felt bad , especially as i watched him stood out in the cold cleaning it off

would never do anything like it again though , totally cowardly

someone ripped the aerial off my car and it really really ****** me off , guess it was karma
