Caporegime
I actually have just been watching the friendly between Al-Jazira and Al-Ettifaq, mostly to see Henderson. Got to say, he looked lost in the game, he was barking out instructions in the same manner as when he was at Liverpool but it was clear that most of the players had no idea what he was saying, a few times the camera zoomed in on his face and he had a look of "what exactly am I doing here?" on it, a rather bemused look. Very early of course but I dont think it will be long before he is looking at the players and crowd and stadium infrastructure around him and then watching a Liverpool Premier League match on the tv and thinking, I could have been in there still, fighting for major trophies. The money will dampen it a lot but I do think there will be pangs of regret in him quite quickly at just where/what he is now playing in
You get one life. Jordan Henderson has enough money to support his family for generations. One thing he will not have is another chance to play football at the highest level. No money in the world will change that.
I'm a sure most players would give up their fortune to be young and play again at the top.
