Is this racist?

In my opinion, something is only racist if the person saying it says it with aim to cause racial offence.

If not, then it's not racist, no matter how it's perceived by whoever hears/reads/whatever it, as they're not interpreting it in the way it should be.
 
Not racist at all, but a terrible joke. I bet it wouldnt have got half as many complaints if he said Indian instead of Pakistani. It only would have been racist if he used **** **** instead of pakistani.
 
The word '****' is offensive and can be seen as racist. So we really shouldn't be using it all - Let alone on this forum.

I can't believe the dons allow this??? As it should be classed as a rude / offensive word.

Context would be important. There is nothing sillier in a discussion about racism than having to refer to the "n-word" continuously.
 
We are not allowed to talk about Sex and we are not allowed to use swear words on this forum right?

That's cos it's the rules and we have kids on here right?

So why does the forum allow rude, racist and offensive words??

Ain't this considered to be bad for the youngsters on here?

If you have an issue with a post, report it to the mods. But I would like to point out that you have used the words yourself and quoted posts with them in. :D

Whilst quite groanworthy, I personally don't think its at all racist. It's no worse than "Ivor Biggun" or something like that. But no, because he's used the work "Pakistani" in the joke it gets instant condemnation. Political correctness gone too far in my opinion.

I dont see how taking a joke of someones name is racist, but then again todays world you cant say anything.

Bit like the guy who runs up to the bus and the Pakistani ticket clerk said you no come on Me Ram-jam-foo, guy turns and said i dont care what your name is i want on the bus.:D
 
People who say it's unacceptable should have their mouths zipped, what a **** take editing something like that out. What's this country coming to :\

If people find it racist and live in this country then tbh they are stupid and should be tough **** if they live in the UK, if they don't like it they know where to go.
