Is this spec ok?

It's come to putting the motherboard in the case. There are no direct instructions, just a bag of about 30 screws and other bits and bobs

fit the I/O shield plate, a good firm push will see it click into place.

then look at the mounting holes in the motherboard, add a standoff to the motherboard tray in the case to line up with each hole.

fit the ram, cpu and cooler to the motherboard and place the it into the case, double check that all the ports are free from obstruction because the I/O shield plate has little bits of metal that can get in the way.

add a screw throught the board and into the standoff for each hole.

A lot of them standoffs are already in the case it looks like.

Do I just add the others to holes without them in the case? Think theres about 4 holes with no standoffs in.

only if there is a hole in the motherboard in the same location.

Ok thanks. Now I have done all the standoffs. The last standoff won't fit in the hole properly. It is literally sticking out by less than 1mm. Is this a problem?

There are lots of standard silver screws, red rings and some black plastic screws. I'm not sure what to do with these.

the silver/black screws will have different threads, find the type of screw that goes into a stanoff perfectly without any force/grinding, and tehn get enough of these screws for the amount of standoffs that have holes in the motherboard.

The black screws maybe for the more visible parts, so it looks neater with a black case.

some screws will be a lot larger and will be for adding extra fans, these look like this

Ok, thanks. I'm on the HDD now.

Another bag came with the case with a label saying 'For 2.5 HDD'. The HDD I have is a 3.5 so do I need these?

There are only 4 screws and 4 rubber things and there are 3 holes a side on the HDD.

Thanks.

Nope, unless you want to install a SSD you don't need these.

use four off whatever fits.

was there a little pack of four screws with the HDD? some OEM HDD's do come with them, some dont.

Thanks, I have just installed the GPU.

It came with a Crossfire cable (which I don't need) and two other things which look like they connect to the card. I can't find it in the manual to say if I need them or not.

they have a rectangular four pin at one end, and a 6pin connector at the other? you dont need them, the PSU has two of these 6 pins for the GPU's external power.

Sorry, one thing. I have plugged in the Blu Ray drive.

I have connected the SATA Data cable perfectly but the SATA power cable is very small. It was 4 pins. I'm not sure where this has to go.

[EDIT] Don't worry. Found it. Thanks.

*bump* I'm on plugging all these little things in. The manual isn't very helpful.

I'm just seeing what things fit where and putting them in.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks.
