ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

Indeed, for some reason muslims seems to prefer the shackles of Autocracy. Either a dictatorship or a monarchal rule. I was amused and a little disturbed when i was watching the 'Jihadi next door' C4 programme of a woman in a Burka handing out leaflets say "Free yourself from the shackles of Democracy"

I LOL'd at her stupidity a bit but also disturbed that people in this country can think in such a way and can only conclude she was mentally retarded

really if all we have to worry about is this bunch of mugs then i think we are safe, most who have gone to syria seem to be failed no hopper types who would only carry out such barbaric acts within a group / state where it is allowed.

If these people truley beived their own rhetoric they would have stayed here and waged their jihad here, but i think they know they would end up dead or locked up pretty quick,

its the people like the nuts that killed Lee Rigby that we have to worry about, they mean what they say and action on it regardless.

The ironic thing about our converted jihads in the uk is that they all nearly on benefits so funded by the system they oppose, bit like the truther movement, filled with loner nuts on benefits talking about overthrowing a state that is keeping them fed, most extreem movements seem to be like this.

Well balanced people with things to live for dont seem to be attracted to extremism, its probably all transference of the pain of a **** life.

Democracy is so fundamental to our way of life we should start criminalising sharia lobbying. It seems that this sort of behaviour is only a step or 2 away from violence.

I completely agree. Anything sharia related needs to be banned outright. I don't care if it works within the framework of English law, many secretly don't and it's a sneaky way for muslim men to oppress muslim women.

A very clear message needs to be sent out the English Law is the only law of this land if you don't like it you can lump it and go somewhere else

Unfortunately our government are doing the opposite. Recently they sold off a Whitehall building where the Department of Health are based, to a Qatar-based business and leased it back from them. Under the terms of the lease, government employees must abide by Sharia law in that building.

It's just this sort of thing that bothers me intensely. Those that White-Knight Islam at every opportunity says that anyone concern about the creep of Sharia Law in UK is unfounded and crazy, then we get stories like this!

It must stand that if anyone from SA buys any land, they cannot impose the law of that land within that property. With the only exception of Embassies

is that really true?

We have seen 300% growth of our muslim population in 20 years or so.

We have actively encouraged it. And i dont know why.

Most if you will live in nice areas and not see what i see. I live between rochdale and oldham. In these areas we have school with 100% Asian ethnicity

we have muslim girls schools

http://schooletc.co.uk/school-muslim-girls-school-rochdale-130284

In Oldham the white population declined by 5.3 per cent over the decade between the two counts to stand at just over 187,000. Over the same period both the Bangladeshi and Pakistani communities increased by 48 per cent making the 23,500 Asians in the borough represent 12.6 per cent of the population. In Rochdale while the Asian population rose to 18,400, the white community shrunk by 2.3 per cent to 181,800. Particularly remarkable was the 58 per cent increase in Rochdale Bangladeshi community over the decade.

thanks....

err wow that's crazy, lets see if they hold them to it, as every article says may not will.

Its not that the employee's have to obey sharia its that selling alcohol on the premisis is against the terms of the lease.

So the mps cant have a bar put in thier like they wanted.

You get the same if you buy or rent an old church or pretty much any CoE land/buildings

Honestly I'm surprised that not letting polititians drink on the job funded by millions in tax payers subsides to keep the cost of a pint down is the issue not well the fact we subsidie mps getting drunk at work.

They shouldn't be drinking at work anyway. It's against health and safety.

but are they permitted to sleep with underage people under shariah?

No because there is no shariah law in the building.

Just that it cant be used to sell alcohol.

Which i suppose was a clause no one would think was an issue for the department of health.

Whats a shame is it doesnt have the CoE clause about being used for "immoral activities" as that could have raised some hilarious arguments about if parliments actions counted as moral.

Its the same "moral" restrictions that are on all sorts of buildings.

Theres no "employee's must wear headscarfs, men and women must be seperate etc".

Whats ****ed the mps off is that they cant have a bar installed while they are temporally based there.

If starbucks owned the place and said "you csn have a coffe bar but we dont serve alcohol on our premises" no one would kick off

That's not what was clause was reported as:

The Treasury agreed to make the sukuk fully compliant with Sharia law to ensure investors were not put off investing in the scheme, meaning each of the buildings used to finance the products must meet the terms of Sharia law, including the ban on alcohol.

If there's a canteen in that building then it would not surprise me at all to find that it only serves Halal food.
