Comparing people's inherent right to stand up for themselves and not be oppressed isn't ********.So yeah comparing the start of a brutal civil war and a dtudent protest outside parliment in the uk is a complete ******** argument.
Glad you agree

The infighting and violence hasn't really changed since 632 and the death of Muhammad and then after the split in Islam between Sunni and Shi`a
It kinda boils down to `my holy book is better than your holy book`.....
This.

Seven-year-old Bana Alabed, who has gathered thousands of Twitter followers with her tweets from Aleppo, said on Sunday that her home in the east of the city had been bombed.
This.
quoting America "collateral damage"
So that makes it ok? Saw a really upsetting video of rescuers pulling a boy alive out of rubble on fb. Stopped when I realised what it was but half his skull was hanging off. It was horrific and he was one of hundreds if not thousands of children killed/maimed in such a way. Before anyone says it, yes adult deaths are just as bad but kids have zero choice in where they've ended up.
Assad needs to be dragged before the Hague. Rather than give up power when it was obvious huge swathes of the country wanted him and his family out he's dug in like a tick and allowed it to spiral out of control into this bloodbath. Remember the demonstrations started peacefully until the army was ordered in. Could well have had a true democracy there by now.
Oh, for those that think Syria is a democracy. A one party state is NOT one anymore than North Korea is.

israel do the same thing, so you if you take assad to hague take Netanyahu as well
also syria's second party https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_Front_for_Change_and_Liberation
Is there any country in that region with a 'true democracy?' Even Israel has its bunch of far right religious nutters in their parliament.
The deaths have been caused by ISIS, Americans, Russians, Iranians, British and a host of countries in the region. As Iraq and Libya showed the end result is worse than what was there before. Greater instability and breeding ground for yet more factions of religious nutters.
Assad is still the preferred leader of the majority of Syria, and the only one offering a future for the millions of Jewish/Christian Syrians (both ISIS and the rebel extremists want to turn Syria into a muslim state).Rather than give up power when it was obvious huge swathes of the country wanted him and his family out he's dug in like a tick and allowed it to spiral out of control into this bloodbath.
Good thing Syria doesn't have a one party state then (that was something Assad fixed after coming to power), hell there are TEN parties in the ruling coalition.Oh, for those that think Syria is a democracy. A one party state is NOT one anymore than North Korea is.
Wow,that childish meme of Assad. You're a lovely person aren't you? The very link you posted:
Another sick and deluded forum member who advocates the bombing of innocents. Hey, those barbarians need rule with an iron fist though right?

I wonder if there are any westerners or other outsiders in Palmyra thinking it was safe and are now possible targets for I.S torture\video.
I hope not.
