ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

This has only been reported on dodgy news sites so far so take it with a pinch of salt but there's reports coming in that Iraq has now joined Iran/Russia/etc in backing up the Syrian government:

Correct. They state it's to show they support the eradication of ISIS. Personally I think it's just to show they can deliver some kind of air power. More concerning is what does their ROE and tolerance of CDE look like.

I'm not posting this video or the pictures in relation to the current situation.

Just posting them because, it's honestly amazing at what they are able to do, you could fill these things with anything. (⊙_⊙)

Indeed, not good.

"Cassian, what does one do when there's no way out of a situation?"
"If there's no way out, the best thing is to find a way further in."

The International (2009 movie)

And dig a hole so deep the rest of the world falls in with you (bottomless pit?).

Wonder what Turkey thinks of Saudi Arabia's moves viz-a-viz Syria (rumours at present but fair to say the Americans and Saudis are spelling it out now - Saudis are going to be moving in, no more proxy Jihadi small fry).

Better then the Saudies then us to be honest, that said, I prefer they didn't violate Syrians sovereignty unless they are invited.

I'm guessing Turkey will hate the idea of them getting involved.

A lot of pockets around and in Damascus are falling or surrendering now.

Seems the current tactic is negotiate and if that fails, they get bombed back to the stone age for a while by artillery and airstrikes to show their huge firepower difference between the two. Then new negotiations are opened again which are starting to be successful.

Getting a bit messy now - seems a lot of infighting especially between groups that have been cooperating within pockets and Turkish backed groups are making considerable moves against other groups especially those backed by al-Qaeda. Meanwhile looks like Iran's actions in the South towards the Golan have seemingly resulted in the ISIS pocket there receiving a resupply from the Israelis (or that is one way to read it) as they suddenly have a load of new heavy weaponry.

Just watch for yet another chemical attack in the next few months as Assad gains more control of rebel Syria

Yes, there is lots of infighting going around between the rebels/terrorists. Happening in Idlib a lot, according to their own channels, least 975 rebels killed and 3000+ injured.

https://www.reddit.com/r/syriancivi...ding_to_the_rebels_channel_975_rebels_killed/

Which makes me happy, more them kill themselves, easier it is for the SAA to regain control at a later date.

It's always been very dodgy how that Israel are not bombing the hell out of that ISIS pocket on the Golan heights.

Guarantee that, closer the SAA gets closer to the US backed rebels (cough, terrorists) more of these "chemical" attacks will happen.

I watched this bot interviewed on Sky News. He looked very realistic I must say. The female interviewer was able to ask him "Are you a bot?", with a straight face, which made me wonder more about her.

It's almost like there's junior (I imagine) staff at GCHQ taking the mickey out of their senior counterparts, when these ask them to "find proof of Russian bots". "Here you are, sir, 100% bots Ian56789 and partisan_girl". And then they go and have a laugh in the backroom while they wait for the fun to begin.

4000% increase in Russian bot activity = 4000% increase in scepticism of the government's account/s.

Calling people bots now is the new attack angle, no different to the liberals calling people nazis. lol

That said, you can find Partisangirl interview videos all over Youtube, her real name is Maram Susli which if you use, you find videos all over.

I wouldn't deny that it's possible she uses scripts to post or retweet posts, but that's honestly no different to anyone else with a very large amount of followers.

I don't know about the Ian guy, never heard of him, but in less then one minute, I found his twitter and he's done a interview with Skynews. LOL!!

Russian robotics technology is the best in the world!

The Guardian is Fake News.
