ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

You would deport up to 3000 UK born people to Syria if a terrorist was found here with a fake Syrian passport on them?

Um, I didn't use the figure of 3000. If you read previous posts you would have seen that I agreed that the majority of those being watched would be innocent. It's those that have a high probability of carrying out an act of violence that I'd deport. The percentage is an unknown. The trouble is that we have become way too soft in this country and worry about political correctness too much.

I'm afraid that, actually, you did. I added in the words 'up to' but you just flatly quoted 3000:

3, 30, 300 no try 3,000 and that's the ones they know about. This country is pathetic in dealing with these people. I'd just deport them and I don't care where and I don't care about their human rights.

You're right though, out of the 3000 or so on the watch list the majority will do nothing but there will be an element which, if given the chance, would try and cause some damage in this country. It could be 5, 10 or 20%. Only the intelligence services knows that. It's these individuals that should be given their marching orders but human rights prevent the authorities from doing so.

Did u miss it?

the sad thing is we have the perfect weapon to defeat isis

kurds are great fighters and they love us, back them up with our air power and special forces and we would have isis beat in 365 days, problem is the turks wont allow it.

its all stone paper scissors ****

Apparently Turkey warned France twice about one of the attackers.

problem is if western countries locked up every muslim terror suspect who might be a threat we'd basically be interning a few thousand in each country a lot of whom might not actually be a threat but just a bit misguided etc.. and then perhaps become more radicalised after being interned with a bunch of other followers of fundamentalist Islam

So the radicalisation comes from where?
a) corrupt religious leaders
b) internet groups and propaganda
c) feeling segregated and attacked
