I think knowing who believes what is useful, and my primary concern with free speech is that someday the worst possible people will get into power and use the same laws to silence things we like / need to hear.

It's important to understand that every power given to the government can someday be used against you, not just the people the laws are targeted against when passed.

I think human shields are usless for Hamas this time and Israel isn't concerned with the popularity contest now either.

A government spokesman made it quite clear and stated if it takes them 20 years to track them down they will. Looking at the Germans still being arrested after 70+ years I can believe it.

You’re quite right they are useless. And israel isn’t trying to win a popularity contest. They’re hell bent on revenge and I can I understand that. What happened at the weekend was sickening. But killing innocents as revenge for the death of innocent Israeli people isn’t going to bring them the results they want. Unless more bloodshed is all they are after.

Let's have what? A list of posters that have said there were no dead babies? A list of posters that said hamas dont use human shields?
