French Police don't intervene until its a mess rather than trying to stop it becoming a mess.

Looks like Croatian fans are getting into the act - their team winning 2-1 up with minutes to go and they decide to throw flares and firecrackers onto the pitch - one of which blew up as a steward went to pick it up...

Theyll get the same punishment as Russia I suspect

That was unbelievable, like you said, they are winning so why the violence, it does not make sense.

e: The amount of flares was shocking and that load bang, i wasn't sure what it was, put someone went down and was helped off the pitch.
