Well, there has plenty of advertising on this premise and none have pointed out that pc hardware is unreliable.Call me cynical, but I somehow doubt that's the way Apple want the general consumer base to see itTo me (And i'm sure everyone else without anything more than a rudimentary grasp of computers) 'It just works' means exactly that. It Just Works. If any part of the machine that falls under this banner (Ie, All of it, as they control the hardware and software etc etc) fails to work, it no longer just works.
You could always argue that they don't put a time limit on it I guess
"It Just Works!*
*For the first 5 minutes after you pull it out of the box, after that, you're on your own"
5 minutes? Let's not blow this out of proportion. The vast majority of mac users have no problems and if there are issues then I'm sure they will be resolved. Those who do have warranty for at least 1 year (pretty much standard for laptop manufacturers) and up to 4, so are hardly on their own.
