Exactly the same thing would have happened if Button and Alonso were in each others cars just now.

Alonso is the best driver at managing tyres this year as well. So much for better traction and downforce. Ferrari knew exactly how to play it.

He is in front because of the .8 of a second quicker change in the pits. Otherwise it would have been business as usual.

Last remaining engine is not his fault, I'm sure he knows he cant win the title and a win here is nearly as good.
