Italian Grand Prix 2010, Monza Circuit - Race 14/19

No it made him reliant on Ferrari strategy and it only works if you have the faster car to begin with, the reason Schumacher did it all the time was that his Ferrari was as fast as the other cars even when carrying more fuel, so when everybody else had to pit for fuel he still had some left in the tank.

MSc was also beating other teams, when he didnt have the fastest car. People always assume that MSc always had the fastest car...he didnt. He used to beat people who were in faster cars than him using all the tools at his disposal, which includes pit stop strategy.

Remember, the most complete driver in F1 will use ALL the tricks in the book to get ahead, not just brute speed. If brute speed was the only guide to the drivers' skill level, Hamilton would be head and shoulders above everyone, but as we know this is not the case and most of the people within F1, rate Alonso as the daddy of F1.

Well done to Jenson to get 2nd!! Solid race and puts him back in the game!
Though i hate his guts (Alonso) He did a solid race

MSC also had the joy of Bridgestone tyres and remember when the Bridgestone inters where just immense and Michelin just didn't know what to do about them.

Probably because a good portion of them have already done 3 races and they're doing everything they can to avoid making them do 4.

Well it would be impossible to avoid them doing a 4th race unless they took the 10 place hit?

Fair play to Ferrari who had a very quick car here. Just a shame Button came in first. Not sure why the soft tyres should be allowed to last the entire race distance.

Indeed, hence peoples point about them being a bad position in relation to engines - it's not as simple as 'He has 7 engines to still use, and can use any of them, he just can't use a new one.' - they are engines that Ferrari would rather have avoided having to use again.
