Italian Grand Prix 2010, Monza Circuit - Race 14/19

Grosjean will be doing the next Pirelli test, be interesting to see if a man with as much as experience as De La Rosa steps in.

doesnt he hold the record for most points finishes in a row or something like that?

I think he holds the record for the most finishes in a row.

I believe MSc (as with most of the records), holds the record for the most points finishes in a row.

He has the record for most consecutive classified finishes at 41. Also shares the record for finishing the most races in a season with Tiago Monteiro at 18.

He also has the dubious honour of being the driver who has the most points without winning a race....

So, if Button was paid £10M + £3M, did he really take a pay cut? Have I miss-interpreted the information in the quote above?

Depends how many years the settlement was for. If I was made redundant from my workplace and they gave me a lump sum, then said workplace was taken over and they re-employeed me on half the wages, I'd still consider I'd taken a paycut.

As for heidfeld, he's a plodder. Keep him away from F1. All those years and he hasn't done a thing. No noteworthy overtakes, hell he never has a race where he sticks out. He was done and dusted, finished in f1. No one wanted him, not even jordan and then BMW enter f1 and find poor old heidy a spot, for no other reason than he's german.

A pointless decision to have him back.

Yep - he's cut from the same cloth as De La Rosa. Both consistent test drivers but missing the killer instinct needed in a top racing driver.

Pedro needed beating the **** up. The guy was a contracter, not a full employee of the Mclaren team and he's getting info from ferrari by email.

He should never have gotten a drive again. I love watching him fail. The only possible reason I can see that Mclaren didn't fire him instantly and sue him for th emoney they lost in fines is because the rot went much deeper through Mclaren than we have ever heard about.

Davidson didn't cut it when he got the chance either, nice guy, great commentator, slow driver.

Very much so. My belief is that Ron Denis knew exactly what was going on. Especially when a new driver like Alonso had the audacity to be sending emails and openly discussing Ferrari data. I think that all the main players at McLaren knew what was going on.

Agreed.

You can't cite sources for a belief, deuse :)

The way I see it, either of these scenarios is the truth:

1) Ron had no idea what his team were up to, and was derelict in his duties as team principal for not knowing about it.
2) Ron had every idea what his team were up to, and was derelict in his duties as team principal for not hiding it all a hell of a lot better.

Both of these explain why Whitmarsh is now in charge, and Ron is skulking around the paddock cutting the wires on Eddie Jordan's headphones :D

I know.. but I knew he would try to get citations that was going to be the fun part :D

I wouldn't get citations, because no real proof exists (on the net), that Denis knew about the Ferrari data. Officially, he has told the FIA that he had no idea about the Ferrari data. He says that the first he knew about it, was when Alonso made the threat at the Hungarian GP. Dennis responded by reporting this immediately to the FIA.

If Denis did not know about the Ferrari data, IMO, it would be quite extraordinary, as any spying/covert operations are usually agreed by management in advance, in any corporation.

I agree the closest he would ever have got to not knowing would be plausible deniability. ie. Ok, do it. But I never want to hear about it again.

Motor racing is the most exciting race which origin back to Europe and as for as Italian Grand Prix is concerned it the most exciting event of motor racing. can some one tell me some important event coming onward...
