Italian Grand Prix 2010, Monza Circuit - Race 14/19

JB had the BALLS to make a choice which LH (or anyone else) wouldnt have done until after someone else tried it - thats clear judgement and making it work, not "luck"

Did you even watch the race? Jenson gambled on going early because he'd destroyed his tyres and Lewis had just sauntered past him like he was standing still. It wasn't skill, judgement or BALLS; it was luck resulting from a failure.

The second win, however, was an excellent tyre choice.

The weird thing is he doesn't **** Hamilton off for being a playboy who goes missing with the thick girlfriend during the season.

If Hamilton was regularly putting in indifferent performances, I would be the first person to point this out...believe me.

The fact of the matter is that I hold Hamilton in very high regard, even higher than Alonso (currently).

We don't have any female member that I've seen that are as simple as she is.

I don't believe for 1 second she is as simple as you are making her to be. She has/is enjoying a successful career on TV and as a singer. She has had the foresight to employ the right people around her, who are pointing her in the right direction, allowing her to continue her success.

Somebody who is as well-known (and successful) as her, cannot possibly be simple.

Thats irrelevant tbh, the choice was still jensons. he made the decision he led the team. You can bet if the situations had been reversed Hamilton would have stuck with it waiting for the team to tell him what to do, then moaned about it afterwards when the race was ruined.

She's simple, she's not the one been leading that band of halfwits they have a management team. They make all the decisions, marketing, publicity etc.

Since when does being a successful singer mean you have to be bright, you don't especially not these days. You only have to watch her on tv and hear her blabbing on like some dimwit from legally blonde to see what a halfwit she is.

She doesn't employ the people around her, they employ her...

"The Pussycat Dolls (abbreviated to PCD) are an American pop/R&B girl group and dance ensemble founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 as a burlesque troupe based in Los Angeles. After attracting national attention, Antin eventually negotiated a record deal with Interscope Records in 2003 turning the group into a music franchise, comprising Nicole Scherzinger alongside Melody Thornton, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt and Carmit Bachar. Since then the group has developed a global image and commercial brand overseen by Antin, Interscope and various partners. They have diversified into reality television programs, a Las Vegas act and product endorsements amongst other things"

Just another manufacturered group of women that look right, sod all to do with her 'talent' or being clever to employ the right people.

I can understand why he wanted to bang her a few times but to stay with her longtime, the conversation must be amazing.

This is turning into Femail. What does the intelligence of a driver's girlfriend have to do with the price of eggs?

Because he's just as bright. Hence the stupid mistakes every time you think he's learnt a lesson.

They are both simpletons that have been nursed and babysat through careers.

He's an amazingly fast driver and if he'd been a bit brighter would probably end up being the greatest of all time. Luckily for the circus he isn't. The team tells him what to do and he does it.

Yes I did - he still needed to change tyres maybe , but the SAFE option would have been to go onto the same type as everyone else , even for a lap or so , but no JB had the BALLS to go onto a different type.

I stand by my original post

...and away from the Scherzinger bashing, some interesting news updates:

Hearing that Sutil is leading contender to replace Schumacher at season's end IF he leaves Mercedes.

Could MSc be getting ready to leave?
His comeback has been a bit of a disaster.

accounts also reveal a ‘Contract Settlement Fee’ of £10m paid to Button to formally end his Honda deal before the Brawn adventure started…

http://adamcooperf1.com/2010/09/14/brawn-gp-made-98-5m-profit-in-2009/

So, if Button was paid £10M + £3M, did he really take a pay cut? Have I miss-interpreted the information in the quote above?

Also from Legard's Twitter feed.

Heidfeld confirmed by Sauber to replace De La Rosa for rest of season. Wonder if Pirelli will take him for tyre testing with his experience

I was very surprised that Heidfeld didn't get a drive at the start anyway. Always thought he was Mr Consistent & Reliable.
