Just hope hammy gets a good start. Especially with Ferrari behind.

They must have set cars up differently, ros is over 3kph slower in speed trap. Or maybe older spec engine.

Would love half the tyre rules to be scrapped.

Yup, they're really stupid and over-complicated. Drop the rules about carrying tyres through, they just make strategy less interesting; and drop the required tyre type in the race, just make them run two tyre types. Also consider dropping the rule about all the tyres needing to the same type and let them run different types front and rear like MotoGP if they want to.

Wow, the safety car picks up the wrong car and decides the outcome of the race. What a mess! Glad the FIA don't just screw up F1 :p

Haha, the safety car now waving cars by. This is hilariously amateur.

That said, F1 has a lot to learn. GP2 is way more entertaining.

The strange thing about that is, got to mean almost certainly Van in at Mclaren, but Perez appears to have committed to FI so who takes the Williams seat? Wehrlein?

Wehrlein is looking impressive for that car but he's completely untested and Merc just gave a 2 year deal was it to Rosberg. So a year or two in Williams would work great for Wehrlein, see what he can do in a more competitive but not top car, Merc get to test him out before maybe making him the no.2 in a couple of years.

Otherwise I can't really see any big names wanting the second Williams seat, Perez could change his mind but nothing about the WIlliams team or setup suggests forward momentum while FI are currently beating them and have been improving at a far better rate.

Button has had a good run to be fair. Sucks to go out with McLaren in such a sorry state though, but at least he hasn't had much pressure and expectation on him for a while.
