Its Coming - Ahsoka

That seems a pretty decent showing, tbh. It has neither the name recognition of Obi Wan or Boba Fett, nor the existing fan base of the Mandalorian which seemed to be generally well received until Season 3. Not surprising it's gets a smaller audience than those.

Ahsoka is one of the most well known characters from outside of the 9 films and is/was well liked and respected as a character in her own right by the fans.

She's also been in the Mandalorian over several episodes to raise more awareness of her character of non-fans too.

I'm a little conflicted as part of me wants it to have done well as I like the character, but I also want Disney Star Wars to fail at every turn over their attitude towards the fans reaction to Disneys low quality output.

The mindshare of The Clone Wars and Rebels is incredibly minor compared to the films.

She appeared as a secondary characters in a couple of episodes, I don't think that's enough to expect the audience to follow her. I recognised the character from those episodes, but I couldn't have told you her name.

No ones watching because no one knows who asoka tan is :cry::cry::eek: We've reached peak copium with certain folks

Are you seriously suggesting that Ahsoka is as well known a character as Obi Wan Kenobi or Boba Fett!? Seriously?

Also, the only reason to care how many people watch is whether or not it gets renewed. And that only matters if it's good. We've had two episodes, they've been good enough to watch more, but it's far too early to say if it's good or bad.

**** off with your strawman.

Clone wars was Cartoon networks highest viewed show at one point (no idea if it still is) with over 4 million tuning into episodes. Rebels pulled in between 7-8 million. Yet because ahsoka is down to under a million its 'no one knows who she is' .. laughable

I did like Andor but it went down as the best Starwars TV show that no one watched.

This just about matches it

Can’t wait for the media spin on this **** show.

It's your strawman, mate.

How many more people watched Star Wars or any of the other films? A character like Ahsoka has nothing like the draw of the major characters of the franchise, so it doesn't make sense to expect it to match the viewership of franchise based around those characters. Hell, even Mandalorian was relying on the visual recognition of Boba Fett for initial viewership.

It probably hasn't helped that Book of Boba Fett was utter cack, the recent series of Mandalorian was bobbins, and Obi Wan was mediocre at best. But given how many people post in these threads to express how little they like things, I don't think it's actually stopping many watching.

Show me where I claimed anything remotely similar to her being more well known than Obi Wan or Boba Fett, I'll wait.

I was apparent from your pants-on-head response here:

No ones watching because no one knows who asoka tan is

Note how this bit of drool is a complete strawman of what I actually said:

It has neither the name recognition of Obi Wan or Boba Fett
