And my boss has phoned up asking if I wouldnt mind doing a double shift today and come to work earlier by finding some form of working transport because other people pretty much fancy having a snow day and arent going in.

Now, I know how you all love the snow, and at this moment its ace, However Im Flying out to Orlando in 7 days, so would the Snow please sod off to some other area!!

Chesterfield isn't that far from me either, you get a foot or 2, we get an inch.

Yep fine. He works for BMW and gets a car to suit the conditions every time. Nice sunny day - Z4, Snow X3/5, Christmas - Alpina B5 and rest of the year a nice cheap to run 320d. Lucky bugger

Man, Oxford gets no snow this year
Had 1cm so far, which has melted by now.
Yet forecast keeps saying chance of snow each and every day

We've had it all week, and it gets deeper every night.
It's about knee deep in my street.
