Thats the point... Shows the past movements of the weather so you can see where it will be heading roughly...

Yes...but thats because they've done the thinking work for you.

The website shows past movements, and looking at the pictures..you can guestimate where it will be heading.

Atm...its all just moving N/E to S/W with no N or S movement

Yes... but clearly (based on the number of complaints), forecasting is not accurate at all (there are forecasts on the left side).

The idea is it shows you where the precipitation actually is right now, which, unless you're stupid, should be pretty useful if you're desperately waiting for snow.
