I have to recommend Uni Qlo HeatTech t-shirts and long-johns ITT, on offer at the moment too! Wack them on as your underwear and it takes a bit of the chill off things, especially down below!

I finished work at Half 4...But i'm staying there untill 5:30 as the lady doesn't finish work till then and don't fancy waiting outside!

We don't normally get very cold temps due to being so close to the sea in the very south east corner.

It was +1 at about 1:30 pm, -5 at 4:00 (when my director sent me home) and -9 by the time I got home.

OMG, first day in 10 days it didn't snow. Was -15C though this morning, car barely started and the gearbox was like it was filled with treacle.

Our roads were cleared and pavements gritted into slush this morning but it's snowing heavier than ever just now. Everything is gonna be buggered again by morning

I think it was the coldest day so far this winter in Manchester. Car was readin -7 this morning when I left for work, and -9.5 when I got to work. According to BBC weather heavy snow expected here any minute now.

Its just started snowing in stockport.

Light fine stuff and not heavy but its here....

Raintoday says the snow clouds are still passing over the UK. They are rain until it hits the coast, then it will be snowing overland, back to rain as it hits the sea.

Its accurate, as it snowed for an hour and a half here. Despite everyone claiming it wouldn't

. Even metoffice says it will not be snowing. The radar pictures say otherwise (I have the premium one).

Blue is sleet, grey is rain, red is snow, pink is freezing rain.
