I can confirm that Stoke and Stone had a little snow this morning.

Nothing that would have stuck on the ground. It melted as it hit the floor.

Yes, it's soft hail, and that's what it was, if it was hard at around 1cm it would be more solid, this was more like tightly packed snow balls
