It's snowing

Woo hoo!! After wishing the forecasts were true yesterday (that never eventuated..) the snow has arrived! Cat is currently watching it all from the window. In Humberston btw.

I do have to go to work today unfortunately.. will be my first time driving in snow, but in saying that people are going to put off coming to see me (vet) for fear of driving in the snow!

Loads of snow in Nuneaton and still coming down strong. According to the MetOffice it's going to last all day

Just been told by the Hemel Hempstead 'elf and safety types that we are not to "delivery the mail" this morning.

Seems a bit over the top really, but then again I'm now sitting here eating toast and drinking tea, rather than freezing my bottom off.

just watched skynews and there reporters asking a couple of japanese tourist "can you handle the extream cold". its -1C and japan gets it just as bad as we do and worse in some places. talk about the media trying to big it up yet again.
