It's snowing

Gritter just went past the office, last time it ended up demolishing the wall at the other end of the village, look like he's reversing through the entire village this time!

There's a jump at the bottom :p Doesn't seem like a good idea looking back.

in the parking area outside my house there is at least 7-8 inches, so can't even move the car out - it will take an age just to clear it with a shovel. We need plows.

We've still got the same crappy inch or two that we've had since before Christmas, it melts a bit freezes, falls a little more, gets compacted. the warmest its reched today was -3C here and it's not supposed to change anytime soon so hopefully we'll get a decent falling of snow at some point.

Has Plymouth had any snow? I'm going back there on the train on Saturday, they're forecast snow for Sunday.
Yeah, there was a bit yesterday, just a few cm from what I was told and a lot of people I know didn't go to work :p today was better transport wise according to my sources. :)

Over here in Prague it's -7C right now we are expecting about 4-8" of snow tomorrow then similar amounts for the following 3 days :D

I envy you being there in the Winter, we visited a long time ago while it was still Czechoslovakia but it was mid august while we were and temps were around 37C ish. It was a good holiday but i think i'd have much preferred to visit during the winter as it would have fit my perception of the country more.

Our hotel was in Bruno so it was rickety train rides into the capital, they were an experience on their own :p

I was hugely impressed this afternoon to find my local (North London) Tesco Superstore had ploughed their entire car park. Hardly any traces of snow left apart from banks piled up around the perimeter.
