I envy you being there in the Winter, we visited a long time ago while it was still Czechoslovakia but it was mid august while we were and temps were around 37C ish. It was a good holiday but i think i'd have much preferred to visit during the winter as it would have fit my perception of the country more.Over here in Prague it's -7C right now we are expecting about 4-8" of snow tomorrow then similar amounts for the following 3 days![]()

I was hugely impressed this afternoon to find my local (North London) Tesco Superstore had ploughed their entire car park. Hardly any traces of snow left apart from banks piled up around the perimeter.in the parking area outside my house there is at least 7-8 inches, so can't even move the car out - it will take an age just to clear it with a shovel. We need plows.
