It's snowing

Yeh, my housemate said her boyfriend got turned away by the police as he was coming towards Plymouth from Exeter, had to go back and get the train as the road was too bad? :/

Halden hill on the A38 is pretty much impassable, and they have set up emergency accommodation there

The snow in plymouth has been strange, the northern and eastern edges seem to have had a fair bit (had to scrape about 2 inches of snow from the car) but the city itself escaped fairly unscathed.

If it freezes tonight the roads are going to be really unpleasant in the morning...

That the same place as last year? Think it is isn't it?

As for the snow in Plymouth it can't be any worse than last year. City Centre area not a *********, everywhere else around impassable. Those damn cars driving in with snow all over them were most depressing. :p

Rest of the UK is either rained on or covered in snow, Plymouth just gets 2 inches of snotty grey slush. Awesome.

It is, just after the A38/A380 split following the end of the M5. (The A380 is closed as well)

That was so annoying... It came in closer this year.

off topic, but wow someone actually lives in chepstow :o I bought my car from parva if you know of it?

It's been coming down steady for the past couple hours here. Just moved my car on to the road ready for the morning (we have a fairly steep drive).

Eagle F1s aren't ideal in the snow, though they do leave pretty tread marks :)

It's a getting closer! Another hour or two and it should start snowing here. :D

Anyone else spend their time peaking out the window when snow is forecast, just to see if it's snowing yet? :p

When I was 10...

Pretty much all gone here - we'll get another dump in June though, so that'll be nice!

:(

I remember that year, think it was about 3 years ago? A massive flurry of snow and about an inch or so thick. Didn't last more than a few hours but funny while it lasted (Mind you I am down south so you probably get it all the time...;))

Been snowing here for a bit again now (In Reading)

Looks like an inch or so, so far. Looking at the radar from the met office, its storming its way through, and could wreak yet more havoc round our way!
