A Prelude comes under the eBay bargain bucket special category and has the same engine as the ATR, worth a look maybe, if you get the 2WS version its also lighter.

I'm not really looking at eBay bargain buckets. The Prelude doesn't really appeal, either.

I'm looking for something a little less "chavvy council estate" than the Clio :p

With your excellent racing knowledge, driver skill and undisputable godlike ability to have a mate for everything I think the RX8 is the best choice.

Unironicaly agreed. The RX8 requires someone good at driving to enjoy it, if you are a bad driver you won't like it, you claim to be a decent driver iirc so get one and enjoy it! They are fantastic cars.

4WD for those horrible roads
Bonnet vent iz Wikid
Small wheels = cheap tyres
Clearly won't have any rust
