It's too hot :(

My God I'm literally pouring , working outside in this .

It's that hot only a few places have got me like this Vegas not humid but sheer heat , LA and Darwin in Oz

This thread reminds me of some of the quaintness of the UK. You're 6-8 degrees cooler than here with the same humidity and you're all melting :p

acclimatisation takes 10-14days we rarely get that many hot days in a row
our temps almost doubled over a night so of course it takes a toll on the body.

wow mental loud lighting strike just outside, sounded like it hit just across the road or something lol. proper crazy sounding crackle to it

so many womans outside with tshirts and shorts/belts getting drenched as they walk up the road lol
so tempting to go outside

Where are you? I want a good thunderstorm but it's clear up here in Cheshire.

Newcastle Upon tyne city centre but it's just stopped and the heat has instantly returned :(

clouds were coming from south and heading to the north so I guess scotland gets the storm next

EDIT: can still hear the thunder in the distance come back lol, felt fairly cool for a while

unless your on either coast it doesn't look like you will get a storm http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ <=- cloud radar

Do you live in a desert? 36.7 degrees recorded today. I cant imagine many places get 6-8 degrees hotter then that!

I want this thunderstorm too! I'll be having to go out later to meet the GF so I hope it passes over around that time.

Last Christmas was the best I'd seen. I was outside making my way back home, it was snowing and the sky was just full of snow. Heard a few rumbles and as I got closer to home some of them flashes looked pretty awesome.

I'm cycling to work from now on! I don't want rain but if it could stay around 20C I'd be grateful.

you'll dry off so fast once the rain stops apart from your sweaty ass anyway.

embrace the rain

Rain means mud, 50% of the ride is through an Army training area.

It will resemble the Somme no doubt, the second I enter the area and no doubt the second I leave it will become crazy hot again!

It's showing as roughly 38c in the back garden in the direct sun and reading around 33ish inside at home. I know it won't be 100% right, but even a few degrees off it's still boiling here in North London.
