It's too hot :(

It's showing as roughly 38c in the back garden in the direct sun and reading around 33ish inside at home. I know it won't be 100% right, but even a few degrees off it's still boiling here in North London.

your supposed to put them in the shade as they are meant to measure the temperature of the air

Thermometer placed in the shade reporting 34c in Sunny Sheffield.

Under different circumstances I love the heat but unfortunately I woke up with a projectile vomiting sickness bug safe to say I have pre-ordered my coffin dehydration levels -110%

No you're not you're supposed to put them in direct sunlight behind glass above a cooker just so you can post it on Facebook, same with car read outs, wow look at my car for 5 seconds before I opened the windows.

That's some seriously low pressure you've got there.

Missus has been out to visit a friend in Sheffield with our 4 week old baby, coming home and she's stuck on the M1 which is closed in both directions due to a lorry fire. Typical, she never goes on motorways without me.. this was her first trip out too.

Just hope they manage to clear it soon. Not the weather for a 4 week old baby to be stuck in a car :(

was 27.4c in bedroom last night fan on all night, gonna be more uncomfortable this eve I'll be cranking fan up a level, 30c in living room right now

My cat seems to be enjoying it :D. I don't know how she isn't dead with all that black fur and lying in the sun all day.

Yeah i'm at home currently, so it's wherever my Dad put it. Just was checking the readings, so not going to go put it somewhere else.

Yeah tell me about it, don't mind the hot weather at all in fact love it but it's like being in a sauna at the moment with no breeze.

Been overcast but quite warm here in Somerset today. Tolerable tho.
Just wish my Ultra Deluxe Hayfever MK3 Nose Rape Edition would disappear!

cats only sweat through their paws too, probably why they are all in the air.

give him a dousing with the hose :P

I used to put icecubes in my cats water bowl in the summer to help them cool off

I feel her pain especially with a little un.. I got stuck about 10 years ago on the way back from JAE at billing and there was a big accident on the M1 just after the turnoff for Coventry. It was bizzare seeing people sunbathing and cycling/skateboarding in the middle of the M1 on an EXTREMELY hot day!!!
