Horrible cold summer. +20% rainfall last month and below average temps apart from four or five days and this month looks likely to be worse.

Almost every day during Wimbledon the weather was cloudy/raining here compared to London and barely in the 20's.

A few nights ago I almost pulled out my winter coat. A little after midnight we dropped well into single figures. :mad:

I've finally had enough of this so called "Summer" and have booked myself a two week holiday to make up for it.

My central heating briefly came on this morning and I had to adjust the thermostat. Never once seen that happen before in July.

Portugal, lurking on the Costa Azul with temperatures from the low thirties up to forty degrees. A lovely dry heat with some cooling Atlantic breezes.

It's certainly a bit chillier these past couple of weeks up here in County Durham, I'm not a big fan of the sweltering heat but a nice bit of sunshine wouldn't go amiss.
