It's too hot :(

Had thunder and lightning in Edinburgh two nights ago, was epic!!! The cats loved it and were up at the windows watching :)

Love being able to walk to work at 07:30 with just a shirt and no jumper etc. Very muggy though due to the clouds and bits of rain here and there.

It was a fantastic show, I was witnessing it from just down the A1 a little in East Lothian.

Graduated in Usher Hall on Tuesday, was apparently 25 degrees, in a kilt, was sweating buckets.... It's been so humid here lately. Bit cooler this evening though, which was refreshing haha!

Bucketing it down this morning. Almost went back to bed thinking it was still the middle of the night as it's so dull outside.

We got absolutely pounded with it over night and there's a light drizzle this morning. Everything's looking lush and green again.

Back to our regular programming... :p

Lightning was cool last night. Skimmed us and passed right over Bournemouth and then up to Salisbury.

Was up to 1am watching it.

Back to normal stickyness now. Least there's a slight breeze.

Well we didnt have any storm yesterday here in north wales (Surprisingly!) And the weather outside is back to 24 deg today. Would love a storm and a load of rain.

Amazing thunderstorms last night here in Derbyshire, last a good hour or so and absolutely wailed it down! Temperatures look to be somewhat steady for the next week varying from 22c to 25c. Again it's British weather so we'll see. :p

grabbed my garmin from my bike in the hallway downstairs
brought it into the living room.
switched it on reading 19c
starts climbing slowly. already upto 25.3c

wouldn't surprise me if its 26c+ by time it stops climbing this house must be a real heat trap even with the windows open.

Fairly spectacular thunderstorm here in the early hours of the morning but then woke up to it being horribly hot and humid. By mid morning the humidity seemed to drop quite a bit but it seems to have risen a bit in the last hour or so ...

Hopefully we won't have anything tonight as it would be nice to actually get more than 3 hours broken sleep which has been the case for the past week ...

Last three days have been to hot sunburn and drinking water like it going out of fashion. Electrolyte tablets have been in heavy use. Today was nicer temp but rain all day.

It is too hot, though it's cooler today than yesterday!

And I can't deal with the flies that come in when I open the window. Sigh!
