Had my first cider of the year outside yesterday afternoon.Yesterday 06:00, Frost on car windows.
Yesterday 15:00, had I had any cold beer, I would have been on the patio, T shirt and shorts, drinking it!

In fairness several times they've said from the podium, "Please stay indoors this weekend."I was getting abuse for cutting the grass today and had to shout back mate its not blooming house arrest your allowed in your garden you pillock. People are just mental.

We've gone from soggy garden to dustbowl up here in sunny Macclesfield. One bit of rain in the last 4ish? weeks. And today it has definitely been TOO HOT FOR APRIL. I demand my showers back so I don't have to keep watering the garden (which, admittedly, I feel extremely lucky to have at the moment). You can tell the gardeners from the non-gardeners.

On the bright side, I only ordered tomato seeds this years (the only bit of disaster planning I've failed on so far) and hot means tomatoes, so there is a little silver lining to being sweaty.
How is that even possible?
