It's too hot :(

I love this hot weather, great going out on the bike in the morning when the sun's shining.

Was beginning to think there was only me who likes this!

Weirdest thing.. I used to suffer horrendously in the heat. Like it absolutely crippled me. Now I'll wear my wetsuit even if it's 25 outside! :D

I've somehow managed to burn my bonce which is madness because I got through the whole of last year unscathed which was much hotter for longer and I spent **** knows how long outside queueing to get in to shops back then. :p

Thing is, we (normally) get so little hot weather in the UK, I feel you have to make the most of it.

Won't be too long until I'm having to wear extra layers when biking, so gonna enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

Luckily I don't have any problems sleeping or anything else with heat, I'd love it most of the year long, as long as it rained at night, and we had a month of cold, snowy weather for Xmas.

The 16C air being drawn into the bedroom by the fans was quite nice at ~0500, but I was far too knackered to get up and next thing it was almost 0900 and the outdoor oven was already turned on...

Now 31C outdoors and 28C indoors.

It's great, isn't it. :)

Portable AC units suck - can't be in the same room as one that's running unless you enjoy 70db of noise

They don't suck for me, they make the room cooler which is what I want. Frankly the noise doesn't bother me, I am used to being in DataCentres, and this unit I have is no noisier than the metal fan that I have been using. My Apple Watch hasn't complained about it yet.

I've said basically the same before.
If I had complete control of the weather I'd have a month or 2 around Christmas where it was cold and dry. And the rest of the year 20-30c.
With a couple of days a week raining.

Would be amazing.

Like you I feel I have to make most of this weather. By end of this snap I'll have been on water 4 times. And on my bike twice. Because who knows if that's summer gone for the year?!

That's the worst thing about UK. You might get months of this weather one year. And then literally none the next.

Or people live in the UK because they don't want (much) hot weather.

I want to dive naked into a Scandinavian glacier right now.

I mean like if it has snow on top, wouldn't know, never actually seen a glacier.

If I could move I would. I've done it within the UK. Next Step (if it happens) would be abroad
