Probably the heaviest rain I've ever seen in SE London at the moment. Absolutely lashing it down. Everything just looks grey and dark.
Yup. Leukaemia. Advice from my consultant since 'freedumb day' is to stay away from crowds indoors until we know more even though I'm vaccinated. No clue as to when we will know more, hopefully soon I guess.
Ah bugger.
I feel for you dude. Sorry to hear that. Hope you get to get away soon.
I have a large backlog of books to keep me company and entertained for a while, but the second getting on a plane is as risky as pre-covid (or close enough) I'm headed on a long trip to Asia. I love Asia, and I really miss it.
Good choice. And well done for your resilience. Says a lot about your strength of character. Fingers crossed for you.
Why is the weather so bad this year...can't really remember a summer like it (apart from that one years ago where it rained forever) especially sucks given how hard it is to travel at the moment.

It isn't just this year in my neck of the woods. In the last decade I think we've had maybe 2 decent summers. Outside of that it has been dreadful, where June-Aug just feel like a warmer day in May.
If I could sum up our summers it would be this.
Temperature below average
Sunlight below average.
Rainfall average.
Daily maximums so suppressed they're usually only 2-3c above our minimums.
21c upstairs, probably ~19c downstairs, i feel like i should put the heating on for a while yet it's the begining of August wtf?
