It's too hot :(

Travelling back from Aberystwyth today, stopped in the way and it was so cold.

Had the heating on in June. Can't remember last time that happened!

Feels like summer is no longer summer and our best weather is s usually September and april/may

I'm not a fan of longer daylight and the heat even if it's only a British Summer. Thankfully here in Stafford, it's been a mild year so far. The warmest week I recall was the last week of March when it was 21C all week. I'm now counting the days to 21st June, then the days start going back in reverse. Roll on late September, Autumn.

It was blisteringly hot sun today but a brisk breeze ,so only mild to warm ,ideal walking weather (and yeah the regatta trainers are vegan) surf was just surging white water so cracked on reading wheel of time and walked around the rumps, Polzeath

Lovely!

I'm going body boarding and mtb tomorrow. Weather looks ideal for MTB. Will see when I'm there if waves are good enough for the board.

I love my bodyboarding ,i messed around in the white water when i first started but soon got a good board one of these the size is critical i have a 42.5 inch but i think i could stretch to a 43 (too big lose maneuverability ,too small bad in small waves but a pair of fins is a must to get out back and catch waves easier
I have had training with Rob in Newquay and use this method

Looks like we picked the right week to head to Newquay.
looks a great week ,haven't been down to Newquay for a few weeks ,not sure if you know Polly joke beach but its my favourite ,still a free car park but the terrible road to it has been resurfaced ,the quarter of a mile walk (lovely walk) keeps visitor levels down you can always find a private nook there i just love it and a nice walk to Holywell bay
Also an oat milk latte on Newquay's millionaires row ,fern pit cafe tr71pj ,looks over Cantock beach with the outdoor tables nestled into the hill side (Iit has a car park but theres also a little free car park on Gannel road where the boats are moored is an awesome place to walk down the Gannel ,and foootbridge across to Crantock at mid to low tides
you probably know all this but i like to bang on about Cornwall
