It's too hot :(

Well last night I had what felt like billions of flying ants outside had to close the windows and get inside as if an ant didn't get you then the ten million seagulls above were sure to crap on your head.

Just had an e-mail from the wife to say she's just taken her seat at No1 court at Wimbledon, but now complaining it's too hot.... Silly bint, never happy :) And here's me sweating buckets digging out an invasion of ragwort from a five acre field and not a moan have I uttered to anyone I have spoken to all day. Sheesh.

I love how a period of nice weather in the UK now gets called a heatwave, maybe I'm remembering wrongly but in the 90's it was a heatwave unless it was a week of temps closer to 40c

No, approaching 40c has never been the definition of a heatwave in the UK.

I am staying inside. Aircon and cold beer are my best friends now. I also getting ready for my exams next months so i am kinda glad it is that hot, i don't have desire to go outside (and even if, i come back after 10 minutes) and can concentrate on my studies. With the help of https://letsgradeit.com/ i can have couple of naps during the day and that feels awesome.

The Met Office's heatwave thresholds vary in the UK between 25C to 28C, with London previously the only area to have a limit of 28C.
Most counties in the south east of England have a threshold of 27C, while many central areas of England and south-east Wales have a threshold of 26C.
