It's too hot :(

I’ve experienced that kind of heat in a few places like Dubai, but never through we’d see it here or that the more ‘extreme’ models would be right. In that heat I’m either in the air con or in the pool, I’ll walk in it briefly.
The advantages of Dubai is that it's dry heat. Malaysia and Asia suffer from high humidity, that does make it less enjoyable.

It's 20c here, how do people put up with hotter than that.
20-30c is ideal weather. Not too hot that you can't go to the gym (I don't have ac in my gym) or use public transport etc, and warm enough that you can enjoy outdoor activities without worrying about packing a coat and so on. Plus you get a good dose of vitamin D. It's win win in my books. Anything under 20c isn't warm.

Whilst the heat is dry in the winter, it's most certainly not in the summer! As we're on the coast we get humidity as the sea warms. It's not unusual in the summer for humidity to be 80-90%+ on some days which is pretty miserable.

I'd been looking at the weather on my phone for here (London) and it has said max 37c which I thought "ok I can do that". Looked at the BBC and they're now predicting 41c on Monday!

I've honestly never been anywhere over 40c (probably over 37c tbh) so I'm actually now wondering should we be doing anything to prepare? lol.. it sounds like the end of the world to me :o

Will be WFH on Mon/Tues but then hopefully getting the train oop north on Wed, should the railways survive.. (doubt it :o )

Best of luck.

They seem to have reduced the temperatures for Sunday and Tuesday around here now - down to a mere 30C when they were up around 31-33C, but pushed Monday's up 1-2C.

Fair enough. I've only experienced dry heat from that part of the world. But as a local you'll be best placed to comment. It is worse in Asia though in my experience.
