Yup, this truly is awful. How can people enjoy living in such places as Australia?

Siberia can get to 30+ degrees in the summer.

I could easily cope with the daytime temperatures, it's the high night time temperatures that suck. A nice dry, desert climate would suit me just fine.

We've always had warm summers - well I've always remembered the summers in the UK being warm. We didn't have a winter this year though which is disappointing I thought we'd have many feet of snow. I do miss having definite seasons, it seems very average here or very rainy and that's about it!

yup no wind here in Newcastle either seemingly....

Depends where you live really I remember the east Midlands being horrible every summer when I lived there but in the most northern part of England it's usually a pretty nice summer with a nice breeze...

Was supposed to go to Bude for a beach BBQ yesterday - was 26c and glorious but then a monster hailstorm hit and flooded the town and the supermarket. Glad we decided not to in the end

54 degrees ambient in work today, sweating faster than I can drink. who ever thought three layer PPE was a good idea in summer needs to be shot

Hah - had to do a bit of that today :| full PPE, florescent vest, steelies, the works. Really not the day for it. Fortunately wasn't for a full shift.
