Wind is really picking up here. Forecasts say rain for the next 2-3 hours. Hope it’s that and not a short shower that’ll just bump the humidity up.

Eastbourne here and it just went mental eerie dark and windy.

I sleep better in winter just wrapping up , I struggle to sleep when room is 25-30c makes me feel crap / sweaty love spicy stuff so eating is also crap

So I had been managing my daughters room by blasting the AC, then removing it before bed - putting her to sleep with wet hair, then opening the door at 2230ish.

Today was just insane in her room, so she has full AC. The smug little Mrs is sleeping soundly the second I put her down. It'll be torture tonight, and out early for the office tomorrow. Dreading it!

Edit: I've left it with no context to see the Imgur folk rage, but both 'stats are in the same room. The one labelled Nursery is the rad 'stat though, so is currently buried in black out blankets and next to the AC exhaust.

Yeah. Just cloudy. No rain yet. Humidity increasing.

It's tried to rain here twice since about 16:30, but failed dismally at doing much other than wetting the windows a bit. I think there may also have been a rumble of thunder, but that could have been the film I was watching.

I know you're supposed to avoid alcohol on hot days, but I seem to be drinking an awful lot more this week ... or maybe it's just a Tuesday (was it Tuesday yesterday and the day before too?)

Finally opened the doors and windows and though it's still a bit hotter outside it's nice to reduce the humidity.
