It's too hot :(

Ok, your earlier link shows they leaked 463million litres a day, their latest annual report shows they supplied 1.52billion litres per day total actually (slightly higher than the 1.3billion I said, that was older data). So I make that 30.4% total leakage per day.

You can download the annual report here https://www.scottishwater.co.uk/Help-and-Resources/Document-Hub/Key-Publications/Annual-Reports

I was assuming when they [Scottish Water] were exceeding targets then they wouldn't be leaking that amount. However, maybe there's a distinction between leaking 30% of demand versus leaking 30% of available supply.

In any case, I stand corrected and thanks for pointing that out with the link.

Shaved my head before a shower, sweating and the cut hair is falling and sticking to me.

Went for a shower afterwards which was lovely, came out and started sweating.

Feel like that last 3 or so days all i've done is drink and sweat.

I quit trying to put up with it and just whacked all my AC units 24/low. So far keeping on top of the heat nicely (at a cost).

Looks like I'll need to run them until about midnight or so before I can switch to the old window open fresh air method.

Quite enjoyed the the weather myself, been pleasant going for a stroll early morning/late afternoon recently. Mind you the cat isn't finding it fun, found her sleeping in the shed during the day this past week and she's more than happy to stay out all night as its cooler than inside.

Thats the problem with cold showers you get that temporary relief but as soon as it wears off the sweat is worse than when you went in as your body is adjusting on a larger differential from cold to hot.
