It's too hot :(

Despite the lack of rain, my room got down to 24.1C by 3am, and only rose to 24.4C during the day, slept with no sweat for the first time in what seems like forever, my washing machine never been so busy constantly washing the towels.

25C seems to be my sweat threshold, I am only just below it, but 24C is about as reasonably low I can expect in my part of the country and facing west this time of the year.

Rain and thunder yesterday never thought I'd feel so ecstatic about a bit of rain, the first in three months. Normal drought service resumes today.

Last night was the first time the aircon hasn't been on all week theres so much heat stored up in the building its going to takes days to cool down to reasonable levels

The fact that nothing has been entered into this thread since yesterday afternoon can only be a good thing. It was noticeably cooler, even cold, on the way to work this morning. And the work site is a lot cooler now too. I don't even have the fan on.

BBC says a high of 25C for the next two weeks, which is totally fine by me.

Yeah but I remember the July heatwave when we got 40c up in Yorkshire, the BBC only a week before had us down for low 20s, not saying we would get 40c again but yeah you never can predict I don't think when it will be quite different to what the BBC seem to predict, lots of the time in the future I think they just guess until its gets closer when they can gauge it better. If I look at our temps after next Friday they are all 19, who know what they actually will be but bet they are not all 19.

I hope too though its less than 25 and hope its more than just next Monday with a bit of rain which is what it currently gives, last night it was meant to rain but failed again.

It's nice and cool and sunny ,looks fun I am.going to have a long bodyboard session ,perfect ,raining last night

Hopefully we will also see some rain, have to wait for Monday and still only says light rain with some thunder mixed in, 4am -16.00pm of rain though so surely we'll see some change to the garden if happens.

Its much cooler this morning at 16c so definately feels like Winter is on the way. :D
No, its nice its cooled a little to what it was but I would prefer the sun to be shining instead of just grey and cool.
