Today didn't really deliver ,cloudy but this makes up for it.
Someone mentioned water features for wildlife, well apart from the pond we have a scavenged water tank in the little BBQ area (table and bench also ex water tank) ,have mesh in there to stop cats drowning!!

This almost looks as good as Skyrim Special Edition!

Moon man is living in a Kellogg's Corn Flakes commercial.

Ha yes ,I think the oppo find x2 pro camera is great at capturing what the eye sees ,and a decent sensor for low light.
Looking forward to rain rain rain on Saturday onwards

It's still quite muggy here, don't know about the rest of you.

Anyway, coincidentally it's been the joint hottest summer on record this year (fourth for the UK as a whole): https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-62758367

Yeah don't quite know where they've got the figures from as says an average temperature of 17.1C for July and August, with us we only had one day under 20, average more like 27. Hottest I've ever known by a long shot and still going strong, we are still getting it far hotter than normal for this time of year, scary really what we have got to come in the future as global warming looks to be much faster to hit us than first predicted.

I imagine thats for the country as a whole scotland, NI has had it cool and wet for the most part this summer and doesn't reflect the rest of the country especially the south

Had sun about half an hour ago but the cloud building, looking forward to the rain ,sick of trailing down the garden with buckets
Edit suns back ,hope the rain comes

It rained a bit last night forecast is maybe some light rain sunday. Its rained 3 times in the last 3 maybe 4 months and two of those were thunderstorms. At least they havn't banned hosepipes here was touch and go at one point looks like they'll hold off for now but unless theres some substantial rain this autumn/winter theres going to be real shortages next year.

edit: Aaaand no rain for sunday afterall its going to fizzle out before it gets here. Maybe a chance of some late next week, maybe. Boy it sure is warm.

Still too hot for me (unsurprisingly). Had the AC on yesterday evening immediately after I jumped out of the shower and was on for at least an hour or two after. Was on again today briefly after shower, and will probably go on again shortly as soon as I start playing on my Quest 2 :)

My fav is Autumn but more 15-18c, spring once upon a time maybe in those glory days when we had cooler summers but now it comes before the dreaded heatwaves and seems so short before it gets red hot these days.
