Yup, Brighton being one of them. Seems to be moving off to the north for now.

Crazy storm over us right now. It’s not often that I feel the need to unplug everything. Have never seen/heard one this active.

Didn't see or hear a thing a few miles along the coast in Eastbourne. Just rain and some wind that woke us up as the blinds were flapping about.

Few rumblings and some rain but no storm here yet, although it is a really dark sky.

Looks like the hot hot weather is over, next 10 days just hitting highs in the low 20s which is fine, add a bit of rain and hopefully the gardens and green (brown) spaces and start to recover.

Aircon still paying off now for us. Despite those people that always say its only good 3 days a year, it's amazing still to get rid of the humidity in weather like this.

It was such an isolated storm, glad it didn’t last too long, seemed to move north quite quickly. At least we’ve finally had some decent rain, still raining too.

It's amazing how isolated a proper thunderstorm can be.

Was promised a proper thunderstorm last night.

We've had some light drizzle.

Crazy weather.

So temp has been gradually rising again, room temp averaging 26C in day about 24.5C at night.

Then an hour ago got some rain (more than the drizzle we got when a storm was predicted some weeks ago). I opened front door and windows, and was a nice cool breeze. room temp went down 3C in just 20 minutes, measurement I am taking outside recorded a drop of over 5C.

However now sun is out, no wind. Room temp is already back up 2.1C and outside up a whopping 6.4C. So a very brief cool spell that didnt even last an hour.
