We could really do with some heavy rain for a few hours .. (This is not something i normally feel like saying )
It haven't rained for weeks apart from a few drops last Friday for 5 minutes

My new motorbike meant to be due to arrive around the 20th of this month and i bet it going to pour down for days when i get it :(
What're you getting?

Man I've forgotten how glorious London is when the sun is out!

I'll pass on London. And take the sun!
Its hitting 26 in my office room again. But I am now in shorts! Still not too hot for me though.

Lizard checking in!

Upgrading from my 2018 Gen 1 MT10SP to the newer Gen 2 MT10SP

I wanted a Ducati V4-Street fighter, But that would have cost more then i was willing to pay (About 6k to 7k extra) plus there no Ducati dealers over here.

I live in the countryside - 8-12 miles each direction is very rural - but you wouldn't think it on days like this - everyone out there with the angle grinders, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, etc. etc. LOL far from peaceful and quiet.

Stay off the beans!

Looking like it's going to easily hot 40 days and no rain here. On day 37 now. Crazy!
And El scorchio again today. Just been around the park. It's such a wild (ie unkept) park. But I would hate for it to be managed with short neat grass.

Had a cinnebar moth in the garden today too. (our garden is equally Wild!)

Pic of the park! Not the garden! :D

That place looks very similar to a lake not far from me

look at the 10th picture in the tile view on this page , i think its the background (electric overhead train thingies)

Cinnebar looking for ragwort!

One thing i hate about having sunday off , On nice hot summer days everyone seems to get there petrol mower, strimmer or hedge cutter out

Think I'm going to literally duct tape a load of cardboard to the bedroom windows to stop some of the heat coming in. Going to make the house look like the Beverly Hillbillies!

Yeah I got this idea last year, never found big enough carboard though ,I'm in a bungalow so won't work in a upstairs room lol but now looking into either get a decent sun sail https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0831G2NPY or a cheap ebay one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194194778218 I'll strap it somehow to the roof and just shade the windows from getting that morning sun that heats the room up really early and wakes me up.

Oh I wouldn't choose London but because I'm here I'm loving it. People seem happier and friendlier too. Sat down for lunch with some lovely company.

I think so too! How close are you? I'm literally a stones throw. And I'm not great at throwing!

I live in a neighboring part of the city to where you are . Where Asda and bnq is the housing builds by there (not the new builds )

I could get to hendre lakes within 5 -8 mins on a bike I guess or shorter by car
