It's too hot :(

Not being a dog person do they suffer in the heat? It doesn't seem to have effected our cats at all still running around like idiots all the time.

Differs from dog to dog but yeah, dog's don't sweat like we do so they are a bit more impacted by the heat.

We used to just soak a towel in cold water and let our dog lie on that when it was warm at night and that seemed to help a lot.

Mines a Greyhound who actively seems to despise the cold. When it's hot like this all he wants to do is lie in the conservatory all day and roast.

Yeah its always varied with our dogs, dont all get affected the same. We have some cool coats that we put on them if its really bad.

When out for a walk we just make a point of picking a route that has a river etc

Can't do a veiw today as I am at work (2 day week) hold on though I work in Padstow, tea break veiw looks really misty over the coast, it was the same in perranporth yesterday, cool air meets very warm air and all that, air temp says 26

83f here - would give it in C but touched clock and changed it by accident and no idea how to change it back- Going by my early years of working outside it is bloody hot and I can't stand it.
Got so much to do and can't get outside -if it's cold and windy I can't get outside as eyes and nose runs.
Why can't we have overcast - no wind or sun and a steady 18c.

28c, yeah love it to be overcast so much, so bored of every day without a cloud, just doesn't feel right in good old blighty, our rep is cloudy and wet during summer, oh the glory days of brief moments of sunshine, thats when it was pleasant to be doing things outside.

If only there was some sort of way we could convert fahrenheit to celsius, I guess we'll never know.
I know there is - just couldn't be assed to waste my time. I could have walked into the other room where it's in C but couldn't be assed to get up of my ass.
We might be old codgers and stupid boomers but we do know how the world goes round. :D

It feels like holidaying in the Med/Canaries just now as even the nice breeze.is very warm.... Reminds me of being on holiday in those places.
