It's too hot :(

I hated summer when I lived in London, now I love it as I live in Hertfordshire with woodland behind the house.

Must make such a difference.
I thought how miserable it would be in London in a flat during lock down in the summer!
Vs with a garden, rurally.

Night and day. Even I would hate the heat if I was in a city!

Seriously for me I come alive the hotter it gets and have set all my best times riding on some of the hottest days.

Done some long walks abroad a while back in 45°C and walked from Steins (Sandbanks) to the centre of Poole during last years hottest day and so did the OH :)
You're a very odd person if you don't mind me saying

As long as you protect the right parts of the body and drink plenty, it is fine.

I will add that that was dry heat and not the sapping heat + humidity you get in the Far East and not being 100% British probably helps

Perfect summers day today, unbelievable what 24 hours can do, suns out and lovely cooling breeze about, some much more refreshing and pleasant indoors and out for me.

I was very glad not to be living in my flat in London during the lockdowns - where I'm living in Somerset has 8-12 miles of very rural countryside in every direction aside from one.

Somerset is nice. Not visited in a while, despite being able to see it across the estuary. Very very different to London moving there!
